A Crime Happened.....
06/14/21
- Luna Boudreaux gets a knock at the door. When she answers she sees a middle
aged, tired looking woman. The woman stands there in complete silence
before finally saying “Did you know Amelia?” Luna tries to keep her calm
during this confrontation. Luna apologizes and says no.
06/15/21
- Luna receives a picture of her old elementary school in her mailbox.
Luna eventually finds that the school has been abandoned for a very long time.
06/15/21
- Luna tells Thiago (her boyfriend) that the only Amelia she knows one from
elementary school. She admits that one day she accidentally pushed
Amelia into a metal bar which caused a large gash on Amelia’s head. Luna starts to think about whether Amelia died that day or
not. Luna decides to look for Amelia, she does not remember anything
beside her first name.
06/20/21
- Luna’s house has a rock thrown at it. The person who did it is
unknown. Luna continues to get notes and items sent to her house.
06/26/21 - Luna’s mother opens a brand new multi-use building. Luna’s mother hosts a party which Luna invites Thiago to. 06/30/21
- At the party Luna is offered a job working at the cafe of the
building. At first she declines but her mother takes her apart and tells
her to accept the offer or she’ll be kicked out. Luna accepts. Thiago
has to call his mom at the party, he speaks Spanish which Luna’s mother
hears. Luna’s mother asks Thiago not to speak Spanish inside of the
house which gravely upsets Thiago. Luna tries to calm him down but
Thiago doesn’t listen and leaves.07/03/21
- Luna finds a yearbook from Amelia’s school. It has two people named Amelia Boudreaux. She finds that one of them looks just like she did when she was younger. 07/06/21
- Luna goes to Thiago’s for the first time in their relationship. She finds he lives in a low-income, run-down apartment by himself. She apologizes and asks Thiago to live together. Thiago accepts with hesitation.
07/10/21
- Luna starts her new job at her mother’s building. Outside, people protest the building. The building was always meant to start gentrifying a majority black neighborhood. Halfway through her shift a brick is thrown through the window
nearly hitting her. While leaving the building she hears a woman
screaming “Why did you kill my daughter?!” Luna looks for the woman but is unable to find her.
07/15/21 - Luna starts imagining people call her Amelia.
07/14/21
- Luna meets with the principal of Amelia’s old elementary school. Luna learns that she and Amelia
had the same name, “Amelia Boudreaux” Luna’s mother changed her name after Amelia died. Luna killed Amelia by accidentally pushing her too hard into metal
monkey bars which killed her
upon impact. The lawsuit from Amelia’s mother closed the school. Luna also learns that it was not an accident. She ruthlessly bullied Amelia and pushed her head onto the bar on purpose. 07/14/21 - When Luna learns about this she quickly moves out of her mother’s house. They never speak again.
7/15/21 - Luna and Thiago move in together, Luna tries to get a new job.
8/13/21 - Luna and Thiago’s relationship gets worse.
8/28/21 - They only fight now.
09/02/21 Fights turn into screaming matches. They start to hate each other. 09/04/21 - One fight turns from a screaming match to a physical one when Luna starts slapping Thiago. 09/04/21 - Thiago hits her back.
09/04/21 - In the struggle Thiago fulls onto a metal beam at full force. Killing him instantly. Just like Amelia.
